In the third quarter final of the 500m sprint this morning, Alexis Contin (Fra) broke the world record. The new besttime is 40"853. The Italian De Persio kept the record for several decades (1980 - 41"233 - Emilia). And I have the feeling it will even go faster tonight ! Congrats Alexis !
